APrint specification

All-over printing

The file wraps the entire garment and runs off all four edges. This is what people mean by sublimation, and it is also where the process shows its limits most plainly.

What this spec actually does

  • 01

The blank is pressed as a made-up garment, so wherever fabric layers overlap — side seams, underarms, hems — the press cannot apply even pressure and the colour thins to a pale speckle.

  • 02

Requires an uninterrupted polyester surface. Blanks with a zip tape or a structured crown are not offered with this spec.

  • 03

Best on flat, single-layer, seamless pieces: flags, gaiters, banners, wall hangings.

Important — Seam behaviour

Most visible seam whitening of the four. The artwork crosses every seam, so every seam shows.

Seam whitening is a property of heat-pressing made-up cloth, not a manufacturing fault, so it is not grounds for a return on its own. We grade it per blank and photograph it so that nobody is surprised. See it up close.

Blanks that take all-over printing

35 of the 38 blanks in the catalogue. The remaining 3 are excluded by their construction or their fibre content, and the configurator will not offer this spec on them.
