Panel-cut printing
The garment is built after printing rather than before it. Pattern pieces go through the press as flat sheets, so the press reaches every millimetre — and the artwork can be made to continue across the seams.

Unretouched macro — panel-cut on polyester
What this spec actually does
- 01
This is the answer to seam whitening. A flat panel has no folds, no overlaps and no compressed zones, so density is even right up to the stitch line.
- 02
It also allows pattern matching: a stripe or a gradient can run across a side seam and meet on the other side.
- 03
The trade is time and quantity. The garment has to be cut and sewn to order, which is why the minimum is twelve pieces and the lead time is the longest we offer.
Important — Seam behaviour
Least seam whitening of the four. Each piece is pressed flat before it becomes part of a garment.
Seam whitening is a property of heat-pressing made-up cloth, not a manufacturing fault, so it is not grounds for a return on its own. We grade it per blank and photograph it so that nobody is surprised. See it up close.
